Where do you turn when you can't pay your pet's medical bills?
The Pet Medical Crisis Fund (PMCF) has been created to help pensioners and disadvantaged pet owners who cannot afford surgery to keep their family pet alive.
Each year, many companion pets lose their lives or have significantly reduced quality of life because their owners cannot pay for medical intervention.
At Pet Medical Crisis Fund (PMCF), we raise money to contribute towards the cost of procedures that would otherwise result in the death or reduced quality of life for pets in Victoria where pensions / disadvantaged pet owners are not able to pay.
In doing so, PMCF meets its goal to maintain the special and important bonds that exist between people and their pets.
We work with vets who identify cases that meet PMCF eligibility criteria.
As funds are reliant on the generosity of your donations, there is a maximum contribution per application of $1000.
Donations to the Pet Medical Crisis Fund
All Donations over $2 are Tax Deductible.
Your donation will make a real impact with 100% going directly to pay at-cost veterinary bills to bring a family member home again.
The PMCF is 100% volunteer run and no administration costs are taken from public donations. We aim to make your donation 100% effective by getting every cent to go directly to pay 'at-cost' veterinary fees to save a loved pet. Donations are made directly into the treating vet's account after treatment has taken place. No funds are ever paid directly to owners.
The Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation Award - Equipment Grant provides funds to pay minimal expenses for Public Liability Insurance and occasional costs for accounting software and associated support needs.
